This year’s conference will be held in the state-of-the-art
600,000-
square-foot Tampa Convention and Exhibition
Center, whose sparkling waterfront vistas bring the
warmth and light of Florida sunshine right into the meeting
rooms. Completing this spectacular venue are cafes,
restaurants, waterfront gathering areas and spectacular
first-class accommodations all within walking distance.
We are pleased to offer three organized companion tours
through the Bay Area Destination Management Inc. (e.g.,
Dali Museum Tour, Highlights of Tampa Tour, and the
Clearwater Beach Day) and a self-organized day trip.
A highlight of this year’s conference is sure to be our
Conference Banquet and Cherry Award Reception. The
conference banquet will be held at the world famous
Busch Gardens. This year’s Cherry Reception will be
held at Jackson’s Bistro, which is walking distance from
the convention center and overlooks beautiful Tampa Bay.
Space at both of these events will be limited, so if you
haven’t already registered please do so soon.
In conclusion, I wish to thank all of our sponsors
including our corporate sponsor: The U.S. Photovoltaic
Manufacturing Consortium (PVMC); our media
sponsors: AZoCleantech.com, Latin America Renovable,
Photovoltaics International, PVTech, Solar Novus Today,
and Photon; and all of our exhibitors (see exhibits
directory). I am grateful for your support. I would also like
to thank both our program and organizing committees and
our supporting organizations for such an outstanding job
on all the arrangements. Finally, I would like to recognize
all of our authors, presenters, and attendees. Without
you, none of this would be possible and it is the work that
you do that is making a the world a better place for us all.
