The Pre-meeting Workshop speakers are directly
affiliated with the QMP-LS Hematology Scientific
Committee. They have chosen topics highlighting
recent EQA activities including: publishing consensus
practice recommendations, establishing an interpretive
scoring scheme, initiating a Canadian flow cytometry
paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria challenge,
providing technical and clinical expertise regarding
lupus anticoagulant testing, malaria investigation,
hemoglobinopathy investigation and the practical
application of immunophenotyping for leukemia/
lymphoma testing. In addition, during the ISLH
2013
conference, invited committee members will
provide presentations regarding immunophenotyping
of selected hematologic disorders and instrument
validation – practical issues and approach. QMP-LS /
IQMH hopes registrants from around the world will find
the presentations to be educational and topical.
