Berend Houwen Travel Award
ISLH is delighted to once again offer the Berend
Houwen Travel Award in honor of the founder of ISLH.
We were able to make available a limited number of
travel grants to abstract submitters from developing
countries (list can be found at
This has been made possible due to the generosity of
the Wallace H Coulter Foundation. The abstract and
program chairs selected the 2013 Berend Houwen
Travel Award grantees based on the merit of their
